HoopFX Backboard Covers to Carry Collegiate Logos

MENLO PARK, CA.—HoopFX LLC announced the signing and execution of a Standard License contract with The Collegiate Licensing Co. (CLC), the nation's oldest and largest collegiate licensing agency representing more than 200 colleges. In doing so, HoopFX and the CLC will give basketball backboard owners a spectacular new way to show school pride with the colors and logos of their favorite college or university.

HoopFX is literally changing the face of basketball by giving hoop owners the power to upgrade, revitalize, and personalize their backboard systems.Ê The FX Backboard Cover (U.S. Patent Pending) instantly transforms a common backboard into a bold statement of pride and personality.Ê Like no other product on the market, the FX Backboard Cover stretches across the face of the board to display a variety of colorful designs, now to include collegiate logos.Ê The cover is designed to fit nearly any size, shape, or model home/portable system, and HoopFX guarantees there is no impact on the bounce of the ball off the board.

"We are honored to work with the CLC and its member institutions," said James Hale, founder and Chief Executive Officer of HoopFX.Ê "We look forward to giving the millions of backboard owners exciting new ways to personalize their hoop, express their style, and show support for their favorite college teams."

HoopFX plans to launch the FX Backboard Cover with collegiate and non-collegiate designs in March, 2006.Ê The products will be available directly to consumers at WWW.HOOPFX.COM as well as through a variety of specialty retailers.

HoopFX joins an elite group of companies authorized to produce Officially Licensed Collegiate Products through a CLC Standard License.Ê The successful completion of CLC's rigorous review process reflects not only the innovative design of the FX Backboard Cover, but also HoopFX's commitment to the collegiate merchandise market, commitment to quality manufacturing, and extensive material research and product development.
